The first time that I talked to Rachael I knew that I wanted to do pictures for their wedding. We had an initial phone call and chatted a bit to get to know each other and I got a chance to hear about some of the plans they were making for their upcoming wedding. I was SO excited when they decided to book me for their wedding.
The much anticipated engagement session was scheduled, and since they live out of state, we only had a small window of time to make it happen while they were visiting family in Minnesota. They suggested the Franconia Sculpture Garden, which I had never been to before but couldn’t wait to see based on what I had heard!
It did not disappoint. And neither did the massive rain storm that decided to join us. These two had the best attitudes ever. I found some spare umbrellas in the back of my car and we made the most of the rain and the clouds. I kept apologizing and they just kept saying, “Hey! This is great! We don’t mind at all!”
I think this has to be one of my most favorite sessions that I have ever done. Not only were they so wonderful and so fun to capture in photos, but the place and all of its eclectic sculptures just added to the fun. I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day in October!
