Seeing that it is now December (What?! How did that happen?!) and I am rounding out the end of a busy yet wonderful photography season, I’m realizing that now may be a good time to start updating some of this blog that sadly finds the back burner too often when time is limited in my life. And I thought there was no better way to start than to start with these two.
I had the privilege of meeting up with Jeff and Emma while in the Chicago area for Thanksgiving. When I first asked if they would be up for an early morning session on a cold Saturday morning and their immediate answer was “YES!”, I knew I was going to like them. And it was definitely early. And definitely cold. I rolled up looking like I had literally just walked out of bed, questioning why I even suggested an early morning session. But Jeff and Emma sprung out of the car, looking like a million bucks. I was impressed and immediately fell in love with them (not just because they looked like a million bucks). It’s not every day that you can find two people willing to laugh, smile, and crack jokes at 7am. And I will, for one, fully admit that I NEVER look this good when I drink coffee in the morning.
It was a great morning and I loved getting to hear their story (they met in Middle School!!), getting to know them a little bit more, and hear more about their plans for their upcoming wedding. I can’t wait for May to celebrate with them! Hopefully it will be a bit warmer. 🙂
